It is everyone’s dream to have youthful beauty even when we’re at our 40′s to 50′s. Oh well, I’m in my 30′s now, turns 31 this year of September and since I am still single I really wanted to look younger than my age of course so that when someone special comes to my life I still look great! hehehe..but no. I want to look young to feel good about myself.

So, how can we prevent premature aging? remember, prevention is better than cure. Here is what I learn while I was surfing online.

  1. Avoid Sugar- According to Diana Lorenzo M.D., of Skinhealth too much sugar can cause glycation which means can cause premature aging.
  2. Side sleeper- obviously it causes wrinkles not premature aging. When you are sleeping on your side it give pressure on one side of your face.
  3. Stress and sleeping less-do you know someone whose always stress but still look young? I doubt! :)
  4. Dry skin- dry skin is less elastic and is prone to wrinkles.
  5. Hanging out with smokers- We all know that smoking is not good to our health. So hanging out with smokers can cause you wrinkles because it breaks our collagen and elastin.
  6. Sun lover- those who love tanning under the sun oh well sun is the number 1 culprit in premature aging because of photo aging. Be sure to use sunblock when you go out.

…now we we’re ready to fight premature aging! stay pretty and beautiful inside and out.
